Every colour, type and style of wine must be made in the Loire Valley. Rising in the South, the Loire flows North before heading West at the city of Orléans. Here the Central Vineyards give rise to the wines of Sancerre & Pouilly Fume, delicious white wines made from Sauvignon Blanc, our favoured produce is Andre Dezat. Further down river is the Touraine, home to the excellent Chenin Blanc based wines of Vouvray, we have a dry and sparkling Biodynamic version from Domaine Vigneau Chevreau. It is where Bourgueil is located, a juicy red from 100% Cabernet Franc produced for us by Yannick Amirault. Onto the district of Saumur where the red of Saumur Champigny is found, where Domaine de Villeneuve produce an outstanding example and it is also the home of an excellent 100% Saumur Blanc from Domaine Langlois-Chateau. Finally, the Loire empties into the Bay of Biscay and this is where we find the wine of Muscadet, none better than perhaps those of Domaine Les Haut Pemion.
