Bodegas Luis Cañas produce excellent wines that are a modern take on the traditional Rioja style. The Reserva is aged in a combination of French and American oak, but the fruit is more prominent and focused than more traditional styles.

Wonderful intensity with notes of ripe red fruits and balsamic. On the palate the wine is fresh and with great concentration and fine nuances of sweet fruit. The tannins are polished and well integrated, and the wine has a long, evolving finish.
