Chanzy is a 80 hectare Estate, divided between Côte Chalonnaise, Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits with their base in Bouzeron. The Mercurey vineyard is located on marl Limestone soils, the wine undergoes a traditional fermentation followed by 15 months in older French oak barrels.

Intense, fruity and well structured. The wine has a lovely balance between fruit and earthy, savoury tones and subtle notes coming from oak. Great palate mouth-feel and fresh acidity. A pleasure to drink now and will only get better over the next 3-5 years.
