Nathalie and Gilles Fevre are 4th generation wine makers, and this excellent pure Chablis comes from vineyards planted on Kimmeridgian limestone in the heart of Chablis. Fresh and fruity, with white flesh fruits such as peach and pear and some citrus notes, this a fine expression of Chardonnay revealing a nice minerality.
When we talk about Chablis, we are talking about Chardonnay – this is the only grape variety that is permitted in this region; in the cool northern-most part of Burgundy in France.
The 2020 Chablis from Domaine N & G Fèvre is fresh and fruity with flavours of yellow apple, pear, white fleshed fruits and some citrus notes. Lovely ripe fruits and gentle aromatics are complemented by a good sense of freshness on the palate. A classic and delicious example of Chablis.
